Sparky's Story

by his mom, Lisa

Sparky at the beach

Sparky is now a Miami semi-native. He has moved into a house with two cats and has let them remain the boss. He has the same personality as "Mary's Little Lamb" -- following me everywhere to make sure that I'm not going to leave him. Which he knows isn't going to happen because he has the love of not only myself but his great grandmother, grandmother, grandpa and uncle.

He has gained four pounds in the three months that I've had him, not for lack of exercise (he goes to the park one to two times a day) but because of the constant "treats" he's given by his grandparents!

He has learned to smile, sing and is starting to understand commands in Spanish! He loves to play with other dogs and can also be very protective of his mom (he gets jealous when I talk to guys in front of him, a habit that needs to be broken!)

I am so happy that he's mine and thank the people who rescued him and fostered him.
