ETBCR was at Petco in Farragut with some of our adoptable dogs. We are at Petco the 2nd Saturday of every month from 11:00am-1:00pm. This is a great opportunity for everyone to meet adoptable dogs in a safe and friendly environment.

Roxanne is starting to get used to all the attention. Roxanne will be posted on our website soon. She's used to living a quiet life down on the farm, and would be happiest in a quiet, calm home without children or small dogs. images/events_bella_abby_0614.jpg

Bluegrass Classic Stockdog Trial

ETBCR was at the Bluegrass Classic Stockdog Trial in Lexington, Kentucky on May 16th-18th.

The Bluegrass Classic Stockdog Trial is held annually and attracts the top handlers and border collies from all over the U.S. and Canada. The trial also attracts many spectators, and so it was an ideal place to talk to people about the border collie breed, about what East Tennessee Border Collie Rescue does, about adoption, training, and much more. We had a great time meeting and talking with people and watching some of the top handlers and border collies compete on the trial field. If you've never seen a working border collie, you owe it to yourself to go to a sheepdog trial at least once. We definitely plan on being there again next year and welcome you to join us there!
