Zoe

Back to Adoptables

images/zoe1_710.jpg

Zoe is a 3 month old female bc mix. Her mother was purebred bc and father unknown.

images/zoe2_710.jpg

Zoe had a reaction to her first distemper shot, which affected her left eye. Unfortunately the damage appears to be permanent, but her decrease in vision in this eye does not slow her down. As you will note from her pictures, the left eye has a milky blue appearance. The vet feels she does have some vision in this eye and the only problem that might develop would be glaucoma in her later years, which could be treated medically.

images/zoe3_710.jpg

She is a very sweet puppy that is doing extremely well with house and crate training. She has been spayed and back dewclaws removed.

images/zoe4_710.jpg

Zoe gets along well with all the other dogs in her current home and ignores the cats. She will be a wonderful companion and looks forward to going to a permanent home.

Please note that as a policy ETBCR does not place puppies in families with children under 6 years of age, as border collies and border collie mixes can be very reactive to the movements of small children.

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
