Meet Tyson. He is a very smart and beautiful Karlian Bear Dog/Border Collie Mix (we think). He is around 1 year old and is up to date on all shots, neutered, and on heartworm preventative.
Tyson is a very affectionate boy and is a great companion dog but very protective of his family and territorial. He will need a family with no children and is willing to give him a structured life with well-set boundaries. It is recommended that Tyson have obedience training for the new family to have complete control of his protective nature.
He loves to play ball, will occasionally catch a Frisbee, and loves to play with other dogs. He loves to go on walks or just play in the yard. He is crate trained, completely housetrained, knows a doggie door or to go to the door to be let out, will sit, shake, and knows the down position.

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
