Twyla is a four year old, tri welsh bc with a long beautiful coat. She is smart, highly energetic, and LOVES people (old acquaintances and new friends) and most dogs but usually chooses petting and play from people over food or the attention of other dogs. She is completely house-trained and responds well to most obediance commands--sit, down, stay, drop it, hand. Her love of running makes her unresponsive to "come." Because of this, she needs to always be leashed or in a large fenced-in area. Like many bcs, she is a chaser and will chase cars and cats if she gets the chance. She is incredibly focused and will stay happy and engaged with a game of fetch for hours. Would be a great running companion and loves agility games! She is cheerful, well-adjusted, great in the car, and a real clown.
Twyla is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on all shots. She has lived with many different dogs and gets along great with most but has some serious dominance issues with others. She would be best with non-dominant male dogs or on her own. She is HIGHLY active and deserves an owner or family with time and space to devote to play, attention, and stimulation, but she will always reward you with affectionate kisses and cuddling.

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
