Simon is a five year old beautiful neutered blue merle border collie mix.
Hygiene: Not a problem with nail clipping, ear cleaning, bathing, loves, loves to be groomed – he knows he is beautiful. Loves to be clean and bling, bling.
Sport: Not a hyper dog, except when you first come home, he wants to go out, will let you know it, a talker for sure, but generally very well mannered, low key, very quiet.
He has had a scissor cut, normally he has a full fluffy tail, very pretty and the hair on the back of his legs are normally very full, and around his neck and ears he has a fluffy full look, I live on a farm and so a I cut it down for no stickers to get in. If he did not live on a farm and in winter time I let his hair in those areas grown out, very showy.
Health: Very Healthy, hearty eater, right hip has a titanium hip joint. Kicked by cow, joint replaced, no side effects, runs, plays, no problems. Only observation, likes to lay on left side on hard surfaces. But other than that, he is very, very normal.
Personality: No problems around cats, shy at first but warms up very easily. Very quiet dog generally, listens to commands, crate trained, very loving and is very attentive to owner. He is a great joy to anyone. Chilren? Not around children but used to a multi-animal household. He is not the aggressor but very submissive, thinks he is tooooo beautiful to mess with it all. Knows he is beautiful.

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
