Sammie is a beautiful smooth coated tri color pure bred with freckles. She is about 1 to 2 years old. She was found running stray in a suburb of Atlanta. She was in very good condition and had been taken care of, but her owners were never found. Sammie was nervous at first, but has really warmed up to her foster family. She enjoys playing with a tennis ball and chasing her foster sister.
Sammie chased cats when she first arrived in her foster home, but with a few days or corrections, she now respects the cats and leaves them alone. She is very smart and is starting to learn manners around the house as well as obedience! She walks on a leash well and really enjoys her daily walks around the neighborhood. She is very active and would love to be in a home where she could be in a fenced yard (she is afraid of cars and will run at the sound of them) and be able to do some doggie sports!
Sammie absolutely loves frisbee and would love to be in a home where she could do that! Sammie has been spayed, dewormed, vaccinated and is heartworm negative! She would make a great addition to any active family!

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
