Roxy, a 2.5 year old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd girl, has been spayed and is up to date with vaccinations, has been microchipped, has tested heartworm negative and is on flea preventive.
She is house and crate trained, can be trusted to be left out of her crate, and walks beautifully on leash. This fun, sweet, and happy dog enjoys playing outside and going for walks. Roxy is very eager to please, which makes her a great student learning a commands (sit, stay, come). She enjoys going for car rides, in which she rides well in the back seat.
With new dogs, her behavior is quite submissive, and she is doing well with the other dog in her foster home. We are not sure how she is with cats. Roxy is much more relaxed inside the house when she has had her daily walks. She mostly spends her time inside lying around or following her foster mom from room to room watching and waiting for a belly rub or a scratch behind the ears. Roxy is very affectionate and loves attention. She likes nothing more than cuddling up next to you.

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
