Roddy is a 4 year old purebred male. He has a beautiful rough red and white coat and his personality is as lovely as his appearance. He was raised as a farm dog, but has acclimated to indoor living very well. He is a counter surfer, so he does need some supervision in the kitchen. He sleeps well in his crate and hasn't had any accidents in the house. He is a submissive dog and gets along well with his foster brothers and sisters. He does have a strong herding drive and will nip at a horse's feet.
Roddy is very friendly with everyone he meets and is very good with children. He is doing well with basic obedience. He is current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered and microchipped. This dog will be a wonderful addition to any home.

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
