Nova
Back to Adoptables
Nova is a happy and healthy nine week old male Border collie mix (born June 11). His mother is an ETBCR rescue that surprised when she turned out to be pregnant when she was saved from a high kill shelter in North Georgia. Nova’s mother is a Border collie and her father’s breed is not known. Nova is short haired and is black with white markings on his stomach, feet, and face.
Nova is current on his shots and is on heartworm and flea preventative. He will be microchipped and neutered prior to finalizing his adoption. Nova is progressing very well with his crate training and house training. We still put out a puppy training pad as a back-up plan in the indoor play area, but he will use the outdoors if given age appropriate opportunities.
Nova is very well socialized. He has been held and played with everyday by his foster parent’s family and friends, and enjoys every minute of it. He has a lot of puppy energy, and loves playing with his littermates as well as his older foster siblings. When the cooler times of the day allow, Jude and his littermates like exploring an outside play area. He loves running, climbing on the puppy obstacles we have provided, and playing tug of war. He is a very sweet boy, enjoys people and attention, and being cuddled. He is quite smart, and will sit for treats. Nova has an adorable face and, we believe, will be a very handsome dog when he matures. Nova will make a wonderful addition to an active family.

Please note that as a policy ETBCR does not place puppies in families with children under 6 years of age, as border collies and border collie mixes can be very reactive to the movements of small children.
Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
