Nos is a 6 month old Male Border Collie-Lab mix puppy; he is mellow, high energy, good natured, very sweet and an all around very good dog.
He would be good for an active family or individual that is interested in dog sports and also goes on hikes, long walks and/or runs. He doesn't do well as an only dog, so he will best fit in a home with at least one other dog and a backyard to play and run around in.
Nos would be good for agility, cani cross/skijoring (dog sport), H.A.B.I.T./therapy work and maybe flyball or another dog sport. He loves to play with other dogs (he may annoy other dogs as he goes 24/7); will go after a ball when thrown, but right now will not bring it back to you; with a little work he probably will.
He is crate (though he doesn't necessarily like it), house trained and leash trained. He is extremely good and gentle on a leash and great when traveling. He is currently being obedience trained and is doing very well, can be stubborn. He is great with other dogs, cats (very interested in them) and kids!!
He is fully vetted, neutered and micro chipped.

Please note that as a policy ETBCR does not place puppies in families with children under 6 years of age, as border collies and border collie mixes can be very reactive to the movements of small children.
Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
