Noel
Back to Adoptables
Noel is a happy and healthy nine week old female Border collie mix (born June 11). Her mother is an ETBCR rescue that surprised us when she turned out to be pregnant when she was saved from a high kill shelter in North Georgia. Noel’s mother is a Border collie and her father’s breed is not known. She is short haired and has black and white markings typical of a border collie.
Noel is current on her shots and is on heartworm and flea preventative. She will be microchipped and spayed prior to finalizing her adoption. Noel is progressing very well with her crate training and house training. We still put out a puppy training pad as a back-up plan in the indoor play area, but she will use the outdoors if given age appropriate opportunities.
Noel is very well socialized, having received a lot of cuddling and attention from her foster parent’s family and friends, and loves it. She has a lot of puppy energy, typical of a puppy her age, and loves playing with her littermates and her older foster siblings. When the cooler times of the day allow, Noel and her littermates like exploring an outside play area where she loves running, climbing on the puppy obstacles we have provided, and playing tug of war. She is very friendly, enjoys people and attention, and being cuddled. She is quite smart, and easily learned to sit for treats. Noel has an adorable face and, we believe, will be a beautiful dog when she matures. Noel will make a wonderful addition to an active family.

Please note that as a policy ETBCR does not place puppies in families with children under 6 years of age, as border collies and border collie mixes can be very reactive to the movements of small children.
Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
