Meet Mira, a 4 1/2 month old spayed female puppy. We believe Mira is a border collie/australian shepherd mix. She is fully vaccinated and started on heartworm preventative.
Mira is a sweet, loving high energy girl, who is very people oriented and ready for her new family. She is very clean in her kennel and in the house, and has yet to have an accident. She waits to go to the bathroom until let out in the morning. She rides well in a car with no sign of car sickness.
Like all young puppies, Mira will definitely need someone who will be consistent with her training. She does not yet walk well on a leash, and we are working on that. She is a little submissive and will roll over on her back when she is petted. Mira has a very good recall and will come immediately when we call "puppies". Very fond of her food, Mira has no problem with it being taken away from her, and appears to be totally without aggression. She does not show much herding or chase instinct and plays happily with some baby lambs in her foster home.

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
