Gus is a classically marked black and white rough coat border collie. He is approximately 1 1/2 to 2 years old.
Gus is extremely friendly with people and children. He does well with all his foster brothers and sisters and tolerates cats. He has a very strong herding drive and will need a fenced yard. When he is focused on an object he goes after it full force and would probably go thru and electric fence.
Gus sits on command and is learning not to pull on his leash. House training is in progress. He remains quiet when crated and rides well in a car. He has been neutered, is current on all vaccinations and is heart worm negative.
Gus needs an active family that will continue with his training.

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
