Glen

Back to Adoptables

images/glen1_609.jpg

Just take a look at this handsome young fellow! Glen is a 2 year old purebred border collie. He is fully vaccinated, neutered and heartworm negative.

images/glen2_609.jpg

Glen has had a tough start in life, but we have turned that around for him. He loves his soft bed, good food, fresh water, and Glen requires someone willing to spend some time giving belly rubs. Glen is very good in his crate and rides well in a car. He thinks baths are a total waste of time, but endures them in stoic silence.

Glen likes to play and romp around me and then fall right in front of my feet and roll over for a belly rub. While inside, Glen is curious and alert. I don't think he spent time inside a house previously, so it is a new experience for him. Glen is gentle soul, affectionate with me and very responsive to praise. He is a little shy on first contact, but warmed up to his foster mom in a short time. At this point, he seems to be more comfortable around women than men. Glen is going to make a tremendously loyal and loving companion.

Please note that as a policy ETBCR does not place puppies in families with children under 6 years of age, as border collies and border collie mixes can be very reactive to the movements of small children.

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
