Bubbie

Back to Adoptables

images/bubbie1_710.jpg

This is Bubbie, a black and white smooth coated border collie mix. She is spayed, heartworm negative and vaccinated.

The following description is from her foster mom:

She has been with me since she was two weeks old. She bonded with my husband and she was his special girl all these years. He is gone now. She is a princess and can be a diva around the other dogs if they intrude in on her space on the bed. She lets them know it. She does love her brothers and plays with them.

images/bubbie2_710.jpg

She does not like her toe nails or her ears done. Tolerates baths, she is small so not hard to bathe. Cat friendly, wants to please you, listens to commands. Likes to chase the cattle and horses for 1 second and then comes back like a little toughie when I tell her to back off. It’s something she needs to do if they are out back but in the field walking she does not have this urge.

Bubbie can go into a home with another dog if not aggressive, but an only dog situation would be great for what she has been through.

Back to Adoptables

Please note that as a policy ETBCR does not place puppies in families with children under 6 years of age, as border collies and border collie mixes can be very reactive to the movements of small children.

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
