Brando is an extremely friendly but gentle tri-color male. He is aproximately 3 years old. He is completely vetted and heartworm negative. He makes fast friends of people of all ages (including kids)and other dogs (other bc's--male and female as well as the rest of my pack--males, females, lab, spitz, collie-mix, mixy-mixes). However, he is not cat-friendly.
Brando is very loving and affectionate and has a mellow personality. He loves to be outside and has been kenneled outdoors but does like to come in for visits. He is very quick to pick up commands and should be easy to housetrain if desired. He walks well on a leash. He responds to his name, "here", negative command, sit, shake and we are working on down. He is not a "digger" or a scavenger (thus far) and enjoys an occassional dip in the pond.
Brando will make a wonderful companion for a single person or a family. He has a very adaptable demeaner and should do well in most any home environment (without cats--he is not openly agressive, but shows an unsettling interest in them and likes to make them run--I would not trust him alone with my cats).

Prior to or upon adoption, all dogs in our rescue program are spayed/neutered (there are NO exceptions), fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, started on heartworm prevention, treated with flea and tick preventive, microchipped, and temperament tested. We also strive to crate and house train each dog before placement.
